4-7-2012 We had our first trip out for the new season and got on the stripers immediately
Gannets dive bombing and fish boiling behind us. Swim shads put the first fish
of the year in the boat, from there it was jigs and shad umbrellas the rest of the
day! Very windy day but fishable. Talley for the day were 6 keepers up to 40"
and a few releases.

The early striper bite we have been enjoying has slowed down in our area, so we focused on
Blackfish and hammered them on green crab..Hopefully after this weather system runs past
the stripers will show up again.
